What is the aim of the Young Chamber Committee?

What will the Young Chamber Committee give you the opportunity to do?

  • Business concept design including budget development

  • Production of newsletter incorporating issues relevant to business, with a focus on local economic impacts and good news stories

  • Participation in industry engagement activities, Commerce Roma meetings, events and community activities.

  • Business and Industry monthly newsletter

  • Development of a viable business concept and model

  • Representation of the younger generation at Chamber meetings

  • Development of strategic plan for engagement of the younger generation

Be a Mentor

Are you over 25 years old and have knowledge to share?

Take part in our Mentor's Program!
 

If you are interested in participating in the Young Chamber initiative but are over 25 years of age, why not become a mentor? Mentors support and develop the participants through the program to assist them to achieve their outcomes. If you are business minded, own a small business, have knowledge of finance, the environment, marketing or anything that could contribute knowledge base of participants in the program, please apply below.

Mentors are required a minimum of one Thursday per month between 5pm-7pm (except during school holidays) and will be required to undergo a 'Working with Children' check.
